Gift-Card Terms of Use and Sale

The following typology of Le Creuset gift cards (each a “Gift Card”) are available for sale:

(I) in store you can buy a physical gift card (“gift-card”).

(II) on Le Creuset websites, consumers would be able to purchase a virtual gift card (“e-gift-card”) which will be delivered to the email address stated when placing the order.

Le Creuset gift-card or e-gift-card can be redeemed in:

(I) Le Creuset Signature Boutiques (stand-alone stores) or Le Creuset Outlets (collectively “stores”) in Finland and

(II) The Finnish Le Creuset online store (www.lecreuset.fi).

Gift Cards are not redeemable in short-term shops, including "pop up" shops, sample sales or warehouse sales.

Please note that gift-cards bought before 20th of April 2026 can only be redeemed in stores and cannot be redeemed online.

The Gift Card is valid for 36 months starting from the date of the purchase.

3.1 The Gift Cards are ready for use:

Immediately, when purchased in the store;
when purchased online, immediately when emailed to you or to the e-gift-card recipient.

3.2 To check the purchase date, if you have received the Gift Cards as a gift;

When the gift-card has been purchased in the store, the purchase date and total credit value is printed on the gift-card receipt, which is attached to the gift-card within the envelope.
When the e-gift-card has been purchased online, please ask for confirmation from the buyer as the 36 months start from the purchase date.

You can check your Gift Card balance by visiting our website, contacting our consumer service at scandi.web@lecreuset.com or by visiting our stores.

If the buyer is a consumer and if the e-gift-card is bought online, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract by providing an unequivocal notice to Le Creuset of its intention to withdraw from the contract within the withdrawal period.

If you have purchased online an e-gift-card, the withdrawal period is 30 days from the day you or the e-gift-card recipient received it by email.

Your purchase is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email with the details of the e-gift-card purchased.

The request to withdrawal must be addressed by the buyer.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer may use the withdrawal form template provided below or online by using the cancellation feature at her. Le Creuset will send an email confirming receipt of the cancellation notice. However, the buyer is free to express its intention to withdraw from the contract by providing an unequivocal notice in any suitable manner. The withdrawal notice must be sent before the withdrawal period expires to exercise the right of withdrawal.

If the buyer cancels the contract, Le Creuset will refund all payments Le Creuset has received from the buyer, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs incurred as a result of the buyer choosing a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by Le Creuset), without delay and in any event no later than 14 days after Le Creuset receives the notice of withdrawal. Le Creuset will make the refund using the same means of payment that the buyer used for the initial transaction, unless the buyer has expressly agreed otherwise, and in any event in such a way that you do not incur any fees for the refund.

Le Creuset will invalidate the e-gift-card upon receipt of the withdrawal notice. The buyer is not required to take any further action to return the e-gift-card, unless this is necessary to identify it. The refund is conditional upon the e-gift-card not having been used.

When you buy your Gift Card online your order is accepted, and a contract is created when we send to you a confirmation email with the details of the Gift Card purchased.

Gift-cards can be purchased in our shops with a minimum value of € 5 and a maximum of € 500.

E-gift-cards can be purchased on our website with a minimum value of € 25 and a maximum value of € 500.

A maximum of one e-gift-card can be purchased online in a single transaction.

You can check at any time your Gift Card balance by visiting our website, contacting our consumer service at scandi.web@lecreuset.com or visiting our stores.

Gift-cards and e-gift-cards cannot be exchanged for cash. We do not give change or refunds on gift-cards or e-gift cards.

If you are using a Gift Card online and the total order value is less than the value of the card, any balance will remain on the Gift Card and may be applied to future purchases, provided that the Gift Card has not expired.

Please protect your Gift Card. A Gift Card is a bearer document and must therefore be treated as cash. We are not responsible if any Gift Card gets lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission.

8. For items bought in our stores or online with a gift-card or e-gift-card any change due will be given as a Gift Card.

9. If you return an item bought online or in store using a gift-card or e-gift-card, we’ll refund the amount to the Gift Card itself. This does not affect your statutory rights.

10. If you place an order at www.lecreuset.fi using a gift-card or e-gift-card and subsequently use your right as a consumer to withdraw from the contract within 30 days (as mentioned in the Terms and Conditions for the online sales), Le Creuset will reimburse the amount to your gift-card or e-gift-card. This does not affect your statutory rights.

11. We reserve the right to refuse to accept a gift-card or e-gift-card, which we deem to be tampered with, duplicated or which otherwise is suspected to be affected by fraud.

12. We reserve the right to amend this Gift Card Terms of Use and Sale from time to time, where we consider it reasonable and necessary to do so.
For Gift Cards purchased under these Terms in the event these Terms are amended , such amendments will not be applied to the cards already purchased. However, any changes that are to the benefit of the consumer as a result of a change in applicable law may also be applied to Gift Cards already purchased.

The gift card is issued by Le Creuset Finland Oy a company registered in Finland (“Le Creuset”). Our company registration number is 2567300-9 and our registered office is in Helsinki and our business address is at Taastrup Hovedgade 12, 2630 Taastrup, Danmark.

When the card is purchased online in addition of the present Gift Card Terms of Use and Sale, the Terms and Conditions for the online sales apply, where applicable. In case of any conflict between the present Terms and the Terms and Conditions, these Terms shall prevail.

When you purchase, receive or redeem a Gift Card, you agree that the laws of Finland will govern these Gift Card Terms of Use and Sale.

14.1 Who is collecting and receiving your information?

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring safe and secure online and offline shopping.

The cards are issued and managed through our external valued partner Givex UK Corporation Limited, Wework Aviation House, 125 Kingsway, London, England, WC2B 6NH. Company registration: 05054666 VAT: 863272614 “(Givex”). Givex is designated by Le Creuset as a data processor for the purpose of the performance of the Gift Cards.

Le Creuset Finland Oy and Le Creuset Group AG are joint-data controllers. For further information, please check out our Privacy Policy.

14.2 Why do we collect this information?

To manage your order and provide the Gift Card to you, Givex will:

(I) For in-store purchases: Provide to Le Creuset the gift- card solution to allow our customers to purchase and apply credit to a gift-card and to redeem the same in our stores or online;

(II) For online purchases: Create and send the email for the e-gift-cards purchased online on behalf of Le Creuset.

(“Services”).

The legal basis for processing data to manage your order and provide you with the Services in Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR in connection with your purchase.

14.3 When and what type of information do we collect from you?

For e-gift-card purchases: Givex, in order to perform the Services, will have to process the following personal data which will be requested during the online purchase:

Name and surname of the buyer and, when given, of the recipient
Email account of the buyer and, where given, of the recipient
Gift Card transaction history.

14.4 How long do we keep hold of your information?

Givex and Le Creuset will process and retain your personal data, as described above, for as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed, and in any event for no longer than three (3) years, after which it will be destroyed or rendered unusable.
